Last Days of School

The last couple days of school were filled with FUN!!!  We were invited to help release the Salmon babies (I think they're called "fry" of "fingerlings" but I'm not 100% sure...).  One of the 5th grade classes came at the same time.  We were blessed with sunshine and most all of the fish were named!  :)  It was a fun little outing!

One of my girls put her headband on me and said, "Here, now you look like a hippie."  She's funny - one of my favorites, so I let it go...

After releasing the fish, we had sack lunches on the playground.  This little guy was hungry, too, so we gave him one of our extra PB&J sandwiches.

He was a happy camper, for sure!
After lunch, we walked down to the beach and explored.  We even found some beach glass!  Then we moseyed down to Memorial Park.  Because it was so close to Memorial Day, there were beautiful flowers at many of the grave markers.  Very cool!

After this, we walked to the Town Park...we certainly got our sunshine and exercise for the day.  It was a lot of fun!!!
