A wedding and some snow

One of my New Year's Resolutions was to be better about my blog.  My goal is to post a new entry every week.  So get ready for more pictures and more updates!!  :)

We've been getting a lot of snow and sunshine this past week!  It is absolutely beautiful!!

On New Year's Day, we went to the lovely wedding of Denise and Brad.  Congrats!!!

After a yummy sushi dinner on Friday, Peanut decided she needed to root through the trash - not good!!  :(

We woke up this morning to more snow!!  It was a sunny, beautiful day so we invited our good friend Cristina and her two boys for a walk and some sledding.  It was an awesome day!  Lots of smiles!

Happy New Year :: 2012!!!

After a long trip (all my flights were "on time" and we were able to land in Dutch Harbor - yippee!!!  AND I was able to travel with friends - double yippee!!!), I finally made it back to Unalaska yesterday.  My trusty roommate picked me up and delivered me home to my rig.  She had left if for me because it made her laugh.  Well, hello winter!

Took a little cat nap, then off to celebrate and ring in the New Year!!  

 

 Then this morning, Erin found this little guy running around loose.  She gathered him up and brought him home.  His owner is on the way - he got loose last night sometime.  Poor little guy!  He's cute, but we won't be too sad to see the little tyke head home.  :)

Christmas - Round 2 or 3 :)

My Christmas vacation is coming to a close and it has been a blur!  But a good blur!  Trips to Astoria for dinner and a movie with Jamee girl, decorating Christmas cookies at Gramma's house on Christmas Eve, lazy Christmas morning with mom and dad in our PJs, swims in the hot tub with the Meier clan, visits with our sweet Dave, hugs from Jan, laughs with the Weller crew and games, GaMeS, GAMES!!!!!  All of these things make my heart smile!  I love being home!  <3  I love Oregon!

Merry Christmas - Round 1!

After a slow start out of Dutch, I arrived in Portland on Friday morning.  Mom and Dad picked me up and we headed over the mountain to see the siblings.  Once we got there, I was happily surprised to see Leslie's face!!  She made a surprise trip from New York for Christmas!  Such a fun surprise!  I was able to get together with a couple of Cohort friends on Friday night, and then we had our family celebration on Saturday.  It was so nice to have everyone all together.  We ate ALOT of delicious foods and played games.  Lots of smiles and laughs.  :)

Firefighter's Ball

Last night we went to the Firefighter's Ball at the Grand Aleutian Hotel.  We have a delicious buffet dinner, wine, and closed the night out with dancing.  It was a fun night.  Below are a couple of pictures of the beautiful ladies...enjoy! :)  Love you all!!
